This Privacy Policy explains how TimedQ ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the TimedQ mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name and email address to create and identify your account.
Contact details. Your name and phone number, which you provide when you join a restaurant queue so the venue can notify you when your table is ready.
Queue and order data. The restaurants you queue at, your party size, and any food orders you place through the Service, including special instructions.
Location data. With your permission, approximate or precise location to help you discover nearby restaurants and show live queue status. You can decline location access and still use the Service by searching manually.
Device and usage data. Basic technical information such as app version, device type, and log data used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

To let you join queues and place orders, and to keep you updated on your position, estimated wait time, and order status.
To share your name, party size, and order with the specific restaurant you choose to queue at, so they can seat and serve you.
To authenticate you and secure your account.
To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We share your information only as needed to provide the Service:

With restaurants you choose to queue at or order from (your name, party size, contact number, and order details).
With service providers that host and operate our infrastructure on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time (see Section 7). We may retain limited records where required for legal or operational reasons.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections and secure token storage — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

6. Third-Party Sign-In

The Service uses Google and Microsoft sign-in. When you authenticate, those providers handle your credentials under their own privacy policies. We only receive the profile information (name and email) needed to identify your account.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
Withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings.
Request account deletion by contacting us at the address below.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
